Fee Management

The fee management module of the Digi Campus software is an automated, highly adaptable and comprehensive solution to accurately manage the fee collection process of any educational institutions. This module deals with fee head creation, fee structure creation and fee collection. Digi Campus software can also handle instalment payments.


Fee Head Creation

Schools and other educational institutions collect fees for the welfare of the students and institute. These fees are collected under separate fee heads during different intervals. That is, an admission fee is collected at the time of admission, tuition fee collected at the beginning of each academic year, etc. Through Fee Head section of Digi Campus software, a user can enter all these fee heads.

The existing fee head will be displayed at the bottom of the Fee Head form and the user can update or delete fee heads by selecting it from the table below. The following are the steps for creating a new fee head.

Step 1 : Select the submenu Fee Head under the Fee module.

Step 2 : Enter the fee head name, account group(from dropdown menu), and the opening balance.

Step 3 : Click on the button Save.


Fee Structure Creation

A fee structure is a chart or list containing details regarding the amount of money a student needs to pay for their studies. Through the Fee Structure section of Digi Campus software, a user can enter the fee structure of each course/class. The existing fee structures can be updated/deleted by selecting the corresponding row from the right of the form.

The steps for creating a new fee structure is listed below.

Step 1 : Select the submenu Fee Structure under the module Fee.

Step 2 : Enter fee structure name, select course/class from the dropdown, and select fee head from the dropdown.

Step 3 : Enter the number of instalments and select the checkbox next to it, if that amount is refundable.

Step 4 : After clicking the button Add, users can enter the fee amount, due date, fine amount, etc.. of each instalment separately in the table below.

Step 5 : Click the button Save.
