Student Registration

The student registration module of the Digi Campus software handles the most important tasks of an educational institution. From student registration to TC generation, all the works can be completed efficiently with the help of this module. Bulk SMS sending, a key feature of Digi Campus is also included in this module.


Student Registration

When a student takes admission in the institute, then it is necessary to collect certain information like student details, parent details, qualification details, transportation details, etc. Also, the institute will collect some documents(original/copy) as proof for joining. In Digi Campus, all these tasks are managed from the student registration section. Also, the search option provided helps to find the details of a particular student easily. For error-free working of the student registration form, the user needs to enter details in Fee and vehicle modules.

The following are the procedure for Student registration :-

Step 1 : Select the submenu Student Registration from the Student module.

Step 2 : To search details of existing students, the user needs to click on the Search button. After clicking Search, another form will open and the user can search for both active and inactive students. Also, a user can search for a particular student with respect to student name, admission number, and admission date.

    Step 2.1 : Select the first radio button(Active), if the user requires details of active students or select the other radio button(Inactive) to get details of Inactive students/pass out students.

    Step 2.2 : Select the search criteria from the dropdown menu.

    Step 2.3 : The corresponding student details based on user requirements can be viewed in tabular format. Select the required row and click Ok button.

    Step 2.4 : The corresponding information of that selected student will be visible in the Student Registration form. An authorized user can view/edit/delete those data by selecting the buttons.

Step 3 : The procedure for registering a new student is listed below.

    Step 3.1 : Select the class and division from the dropdown menu on the top right.

    Step 3.2 : Enter admission number admission date and a unique code for that student in corresponding fields.

    Step 3.3 : Enter personal details of the student in the first tab “Personal Details”.

    Step 3.4 : Enter contact details like address, email and contact number in the second tab “Contact details”.

    Step 3.5 : User can enter educational qualification details in the “qualify details” tab. Multiple entries are possible by selecting on the Add New button. All previous qualification details will be listed in a table below.

    Step 3.6 : The previous school details can be included in “qualify details1” tab of Student Registration form.

    Step 3.7 : Transportation details of students are entered at the time of admission from the “transport” tab. The user can enter allocation date, vehicle name, route and boarding point from this form.

    Step 3.8 : A user can save information regarding the documents submitted by students at the time of admission in the “document” tab. Also, the return status of each document can also be updated from here. The user needs to enter the document name in corresponding table rows by selecting the left checkbox.

    Step 3.9 : The ID card details of parents and students are entered in the “ID Card” tab.

Step 4 : Click on the button Save after inserting all the information.
